looks to me that the sooby won. I know for a fact that a wrx will take an rx8 any day. ive never lost to a rx8 in my rex even ones that look heavily modded.

i don't know what to tell you guys. i was there. it's in the video. i don't think either guy would let the other one win...too much ego involved for that to happen. and btw, the 8 had a test pipe, so that boosted it a bit.

I have beat wrx's amd s2000s in my rx8.. rx8 are not slow they just have shitty drivers that dont know their car.

@rx7shocker very true my friend. If you dont know when to shift, your f*cked and prove the critics right. also, to the haters, this is not the torqueiest car(if thats even a word). Get on us at a rolling start and watch us fade into the sunset. oh, and btw, we roll with a 1.3 L.

Ha...of course its not going to be neck to neck with a wrx sti. Unless you turbo the rx8 with correct mods and tuning to the engine.then it would be a race. And rotaries are meant to handle hp so your going to gain a higher hp range than with a traditional motor

I can attest to that I raced an old BMW M3 and a recent Subaru WRX Sti at the stoplights not too long ago with my RX8 and got destroyed by the STi.  Went toe to toe with the M3 though, but it was convertible

and probably and automatic.

That's not an sti by the way. Learn the differences between a impreza wrx and a impreza wrx sti. An 8 has NO chance against an sti.

Basic boltons on a wrx give it a good power increase. CAI, turboback, headers, tune uppipe downpipe. Basic shit and it'll walk cars. Trust.

I can agree the '8 won here, and yes they are commonly driven by shit drivers.

end of the day most scoobies are same power as an '8 C.230bhp vs C.230bhp......

Unless they are heavily modified and are producing the high numbers that everyone thinks they produce......

i own a rx8....yes i agree that stock they are not that impressive....but i must say if u do little to them they can and will beat sti's, gti's, s2k's, 5.0's, gt's, cobalt ss weather sc or tc, srt4's, rt charger/challengers, very close to srt chargers and challengers, 350z's, g35's....etc u catch my drift....i am a part of a local car clubs and on any good night we are out racing and i can personally vouch for this. i have no reason to lie, yes i have lost to some, but i have beat plenty.
