Aahhh,i miss the good 'ol days of Industrial-Doom-Death Metal, and I have always loved this band!!!!!
-
@MrManamana666 Yeah while people still consider dead world to be industrial this album was more doom than anything else...

@DarthMohammed I personally believe the essential Godflesh albums to check out are the self titled EP, 'Street Cleaner' and 'Slavestate'. As for 'Songs of love and hate', 'Us and Them' and 'Hymns' they are definitely going to be hit and miss for you, especially if you're into the more heavy side of Industrial Metal like Dead World, Skin Chamber, P.H.O.B.O.S or start of their career Pitchshifter(Industrial through infotainment).

@DarthMohammed Godflesh really changed in the later years, incorporating more more hip-hop and drum-n-bass influences. It's kind of the same old story with many Godflesh fans that their earlier EPs and Street Cleaner albums were their best. I personally don't find this true at all, as I loved the hell out of Hymns, Songs of love and hate. Don't get me wrong though, the first EP 'Godflesh' and 'Street Cleaner' were great, but the production is rather questionable.

epic and legendary doom! \m/

cmon, you can't deny that dead world is comparable. Besides, whats wrong with sounding like godflesh? I thought godflesh sounded like Swan when I first heard them.
-
@DarthMohammed you just DONT understand the godflesh's drama. too young probably? you know jkbroadrick from gflesh WHO is?!!!
skin chamber, fall of because, ice, god, final, scorn,slab!....that's industrial dude! and look for "cold world" from godflesh, or "slavestate" they still sound pretty ahead.
without skinny puppy or godlfesh, better napalm death marylin manson would just doesnt exist.
U.S`s response to Godflesh
Probably ahead of their time!
One of Relapse finest releases

This is great, but don't compare to Godflesh.
Streetcleaner is still heavier.
