Ever mess up a new shell, when using acrylic paints? In this video I show you how to easily strip the acrylic paint without damage to the shell.
This method will even work for enamel and laquer paints, provided they havent been allowed to fully cure.
If you use the alcohol within the first 15-20 mintues of the laquer or enamel paint being sprayed it will remove it. After that time frame the paint will have chemically bonded to the shell and will require the use of DOT 3,4, or 5 brake fluid to remove it.
What are the after effect of the Lexan after it's been dried?
Does it cloud the Lexan?
Good tip BTW

The alcohol has absolutely no effect on the shell what so ever.

How is it uninformational?
I showed a material, gave a time frame for the soak, explained several options on how to apply the alcohol as well as how to remove it.
Seems to me there is a lot of information there.

This is acrylic paint from Parma and Createx. This method will not work for factory painted bodies.
If you are wanting to try to remove the paint from a factory painted shell you will need to use either DOT 3, 4, or 5 brake fluid to remove the paint.
