On July 16, 2009, the U.S. House Armed Services Committee today held a hearing to study possible reforms to the judicial system used by the United States to prosecute terrorists for war crimes, which was created in the Military Commissions Act of 2006. This video features questioning from Ranking Member Howard P. Buck McKeon on whether the Judge Advocates General of the military services prefer that terrorists be tried under the "laws of war" or in U.S. criminal courts.
