I Heart Michigan (The Official Version)

Prima Civitas Foundation, a non-profit economic and community development collaborative that serves the State of Michigan, held a, "Tell us why you love Michigan!" video competion for cash prizes.

Basically, make a creative video about why you like Michigan and submit it to their website before 11:59pm on January, 31st 2011.

Calvin, Darryl and I began this project on January 24th and finished it on the 31st at 11:15pm. If I can remember correctly, after uploading the video to YouTube with an unusually slow internet that evening, we made the deadline by around 11:58pm. Whew.

Big problem though, we sent the wrong link by accident and had to upload the video to a different YouTube account for submission, this one, and here it is, our beautiful creation which we are sure you will enjoy...

We would also like to thank everyone who joined in on the fun creating this video, the businesses that allowed us to tape inside their establishments, The Michigan Historical Museum, Lansing, and most of all... ...The Music.
