Shenandoah - 2010 TMEA Texas All-State High School Mixed Choir

The 2010 TMEA Texas All-State High School mixed choir sings this old American Folk Song, directed by Dr. Kenneth Davis. The arrangement is by James Erb. The student's only began learning this piece two days before the concert. The intonation was breathtaking. Many times it sounded as if 250 singers were one voice. Definitely one of the highlights of the concert

Back in 1979 I was a member of The All-State Choir and we performed this piece as well.

@Icyveins906 yes you are very right! as good as they are-others have come up in rankings as well! im very sad that new mexico doesnt go up unless its a year of a blue moon haha but indeed New Mexico tries their best and they ar starting to go again hopefully next year again hahah

This was the best year for Texas all-state!!! The music was amazing i cried at the concert while i was singin...lol! I made it again this year....it was great but 2010 was the BEST yet!
