unalionpk17: it is impossible to argue or even debate with the majority of BAMA fans. My Dad lived in Tuscaloosa for 15 years and they were nice until they found out we were from Baton Rouge. Instantly rude. BAMA fans believe we want Saban back. No such thing., Saban and his wife still have good friends in BR & are treated well except for a few idiots.who forget coaches leave for other programs all the time. If BAMA wins, it's because they are so great. If they lose, the other team cheated.

USC used to have that same type attitude and you see how they aren't quite the media darling they used to be. It's mostly SEC now. Maybe with Saban they have another "bear", but, until they have that type record again, they are still crowing about championships and games won before the BCS. UF and LSU are the only two programs that have two NC. Even if BAMA wins the NC, they will still be BEHIND LSU & UF. They were in the same place last yeat & got nothing else.

It's hard to argue with Alabama fans. After the Sugar Bowl embarrassment to Utah, Saint Nick wrote a 600 word manifesto essentially blaming the Bama nation for the loss. Saying stuff like they didn't get excited enough. Know what? The Bama nation, with their low self image, believed him. No outcry, no wtf coach, we didn't call the plays or run the practices, you did. Just, you're right coach. None of that tradition will help them against Florida. Hope the fans don't cause another loss. :)

LSU and BAMA are two great football programs with a lot of history and a lot of tradition. Yes, we will watch the NC championship on TV just like BAMA has done for the past NINETEEN years. Unlike LSU who has won 2 in the past 5 years. BAMA's LAST CHAMPIONSHIP YEAR WAS IN 1992.

In first season, Saban led the Crimson Tide to a 76 record, ending the regular season with four straight losses INCLUDING AN UPSET LOSS TO UNIVERSITY OF LOUISIANA MONROE. Alabama greatly improved in the following season, becoming the only SEC football team in history to post a 120 regular season record, before finishing with BACK TO BACK LOSSES IN THE SEC Championship Game] AND the Sugar Bowl. (still walked w/o the championship game after being 12-0)

and alabama, how many did they have again? oh yea, that's right. 12, not including the 5 they're credited with and simply don't claim.
even in conference championships, LSU has a measly 13... pretty impressive... until you note that alabama has 25.
