The Big Three (General Motors, Ford, Chrysler) appeal to Congress for a rescue package loan. The Bush administration is opposed to it, but it is likely that the Obama administration will approve it. [Reuters]
When I saw this it was so pitiful Congress got on their asses. cause the big 3 CEO's keeps getting bonuses and talking bout Private Jets how they live their life style. But I don't see why Ford was their when they say they didn't need the loan and their doing just fine.
Bush gave 700 billion to a few bankers as a non repayable gift. But he will not Lend, key word here LEND, 25 billion to save 3 million jobs. If anything should be supported it should be the job industry. In fact they should take the 700 billion that they GAVE to the Bankers and use it to create new jobs, and then the people could pay back the Banks.
LOL this is all deserved for the Auto CEOs that have out right refused to make better cars. Maybe they should stop making ugly cars and SUVs that run the same way they look, (Like pieces of crap) I am driving a 93 Toyota Corolla that still works great today. The Big three should take some notes.
Chapt 7 for the big three! Why? It's the ONLY way to get rid of their CEO's & Bootlicker staff! Why is this important? They stonewall all change! Why? because the investors WANT it that way? Why? Because their investors are BIG OIL, & their vehicles BURN the investors PRODUCT! Cheap Fuel-Less Drives have been invented, so this is all just a foot-dragging operation: forced change is coming fast. So kick the bums out & save many billions for public people.

Why can't the oil companies lend money to the Big Three. They are best friends.

Fear and scare tacktics as leverage in negotiation? you betcha.
GM/Ford/Chrysler using UAW autoworkers as sacrificial lambs and threaten to do massive layoff if we don't give them 25Billion dollars.
"Yo, put your hands up, it's a stick up! Give us your cash, or we'll start firing people!"
and put yo hands in the air like you just don't care...and all the leaders in the house say 'AYE'
