Cocker to Ego feed neck mod done right

Machining down the feed neck of my 03 (I think) cocker to fit an Ego 11 feed neck.

Full disclosure I messed up the math on the first g code and was on my way to taking too much off but i stopped it and fixed the code before any damage was done and restarted the program. that is why on the first few passes the cutter is not cutting anything.

This was done on my modified Novakon NM-145 using a OSG aluminum cutting 1/2" end mill. D.O.C 0.100" feed 12.5 IPM

would this work with any other feed neck besides the ego one? like would it work for also maybe a more low profile nt feedneck or an empire clamping feed?

I would have to get a NT feed neck to measure but assuming it works the same way as the ego necks I am sure I can make it work.

Oh alright, thanks for the information, the reason asked it that im thinking of building an e-blade half block autococker an most of the body's i found the feed necks to me here just sticking out too much like the one you modded here, just getting idea's an seeing if i can make a lower profile look if i end up building one, but thanks if i do ill contact you back for some machine work lol
