F 150 codes

Help me read my engine codes. I have went retarded and I can't seem to count right. The truck is a 87 F-150. With the 302. OBD-1 computer.

I picked myself up a obd2 code reader,money well spent i'll tell ya,my 4.6 got a miss in her,plug it in, read the code and it tells me number 6cyl miss fire,dame coil..

That would be really nice. But I cant find shit for a obd 1 lol. I found one but it was a piece of crap

the early flashes seam to be too far apart to mean anything.. but im pretty sure the others were 41 and 33

Thats what i thought. But there are long pauses in between. So i wasn't sure. But at lease you see the 41 and 33 lol.

I'm sure almost a year later you have this fixed. 41 is lean and 33 should be EGR if I remember correctly. I worked at the Ford dealers on this very stuff. We had a ton of EGR issues back then. We always had to replace the EGR and EVP then clean the carbon out of the ports. The thing wit the lean code is often vacuum leaks. The upper intake would get sucked in and cause it to suck air. If you fixed it let me know how close I was

The first set of quick flashes lets you know it is getting ready to start flashing codes but they should be at least 3 digit codes not 2 digits

Hey im getting 41 and 33, i agree with smiley the early flashes are to far apart to mean anything. but yea im getting 41 and 33.
