This summer I spent a week documenting the children and people of the La Chacra area of San Salvador. This are is known for it's high poverty level and crime. Yet the people survive!

  • I can say this video is the best one i ever seen on you tube, this is my people, my culture my beautiful country. Its sad to see in that place "La Chacra" live normal people like you and me, and how those kid´s inocence could lost becouse of our gangs problems. You did a great job with your camera taking moments of those family´s life. Oh by the way i know Father Gerard its the best one :D Congrats for the video.

  • i am not from this country but i really feel bad for all these people, why doesnt the goverment just start killing that vermin ms 13... they got to go like in mexico all these ms what ever are being shot so that they leave mexico thats a good way to get rif of a plague

  • Que zipotes mas lindos. I moved to the US when I was 10. I always remember the most wonderful childhood I spent in San Vicente. It was magical. Thanks for sharing your pics.

  • beautiful video, I grew up with a few of the people in the video, one of the boys is my nephew. I miss my people, may god help them, they are good people.
