Why should a skeptic of evolution be called "incorrigible"? Because he questions orthodoxy? Because evolution is a religion? Yeah, I think that's it. Evolution is a holy doctrine and it's adherents are fascists that will not have it questioned.

@philWynk Darwin's ideas are 150 years out of date, he was wrong about "gradualism" Ever hear of ''punctuated equilibrium'' or Neo-Darwinian Evolution?
Darwin did not know about genetics so he sure didn't write about it so how can Mendel prove his ideas about genetics wrong.
DNA is now the best evidence for evolution. The code and markers would not be the way they are unless evolution was true.

@gregrutz For the record, and for your education: "gradualism" is the claim that all change in the biosphere occurs in small steps. Darwin is still considered to be CORRECT about that. What Darwin was wrong about was the importance of morphology. He was superseded by Mendelian genetics, and then by microbiological genomics -- change at the DNA level.
-
@gregrutz "I don't care." Yep, that describes your lack of intellectual curiosity precisely. Conversation's over, sport. Come back after you get an education.
-
@philWynk So how many fossils and missing link will you require before you see evolution? Please give us a goal.
-
@philWynk No and I don't care. Darwin was wrong about 'gradualism''. He did not know about the 6 great mass extinctions that happened in the past. You don't seem to know about them either. The last one was 65 million years ago and killed off 65% of the species on the earth at that time.
-
@gregrutz Do you even know what "gradualism" means? You appear not to.
-
@slamdrump Except that they haven't. We've just been told that they have.
For just one instance, there's no answer to the observation that it would require 50,000 morphological changes to go from a land-based to a sea-based life, and the transitional fossils only give us 2 or maybe three points in that transition. That's not answerable, it's a simple fact. Declaring evolution "fact" based on such sketchy evidence is simply laughable, except to True Believers.
-
@philWynk "He's asking the perfectly reasonable questions that any intelligent observer would ask"
Questions that have been answered over and over again.
Really, evolution is fact.
Get used to it.
-
@philWynk I said 'gradualism' does not happen, can't your read creatard?
The process of evolution is a proven fact.
@hexcane intelligent skepticisism and the idea that we dont know everything, asking questions.. that's what science is about... If you want absolute certainty, join a cult like ... Scientology, or nazism, communism or the democrats as they are today.
