MechWarrior 2 In-Game Soundtrack - 02 - "Silent Thunder / Rust Heart"

This is the in-game soundtrack for the PC game "MechWarrior 2: 31st Century Combat" (1995) from Activision and FASA Corporation. It was composed by Gregory Alper and Jeehun Hwang.

You can actually hear all of these songs (26 in total) when you put the "MechWarrior 2" game CD in your stereo and skip track number one which is the data track.

This is the 2nd music track on the CD, called "Silent Thunder / Rust Heart".

Same here ha ha, I loaned my MW2 out and never saw it again. I used to play this game hooked up to my killer Fisher 110W speakers and my bad ass (at the time) 17'' monitor.  It would just rock the house and the neighbor kids would come over and take turns playing missions. To this day I still think MechWarrior 2 is one the best games ever made. However I only like the DOS version as the 3D versions just lost something.

It pisses me off that I loaned MW2 Mercs to a friend and never got it back. Regardless I went total nergasm back then and obsessed over this and its expansion Ghost Bear's Legacy, my personal fav. Both are stellar, but I'm a Clan Warrior at heart. Maybe the occassional merc. Shame as well that the TItanium edition nerfed the tracks so bad.

I've been trying to figure out this track for years. I would get it stuck in my head occasionally, but couldn't find it. Thanks for uploading these videos so I could go through them.
