  • 500 years old? Not unless this video is 300 years old!

Cambridge celebrates its 800th anniversary this year. Oxford is even older. The exact date of founding is unknown, but it may be between 900-1000 years old.

  • "500 years old" shows how people got into Oxbridge ...

  • @Gerry agreed!

  • @nialljackson Thatcher went to Oxford ..

  • Also, I have to add, that the fact that Cambridge is much liberal than Oxford is something like Cambridge is the dryest point in the UK. But this not actually mean that is is dry...

  • He was a student at Oxford, and he is a professor in Cambridge...I mean, there's no way to know everything about the University, or the Colleges, most student know very little about it (apart from the current university rankings, of course; Cambridge rocks!:) however people usually knows, that it is a 800 years old university, and Oxford is slightly older. Especially professors. Still, his comparision about Cambridge and Oxford is excellent.

  • He needs to get his dates right.

  • @AdvaitSarkar holy!!
