you can talk about the permissiveness and wanting to be free
well that sounds really nice
but can't you spare a thought for me
cause all these words inside
can hide this feeling up the trail
and the only thing i've got to give is this apology

nothing has changed we're back at square one
and pretending to be having the time of our lives
with nothing much more than ex husbands and wives
we're trying to turn the clocks back
to find the missing piece
but every time we smile
we always smile through gritted teeth
i watch my head through my heart then my head fell to bits
but i made my own bed and now i'm lying in it
and saying sorry i hope it will do
but words to that effect

so saying sorry will never do

i was looking for more than a year for this song

i could not remember the name of the band and i stared to write the lyrics (the some that i remember) and with no clue

so i had to go to mother house and look at the old records that i used to have when i was young (was a single ) and finally here it is :)
