I think the band could continue, even do SOME Type O. tunes, as long as they called the band something else...like October Rust or Bloody Kisses or All Hallows Eve. But Peter was/IS one of a kind as a vocalist AND a bass player.

Well said. Besides Peters voice was one of a kind, it just wouldn't be the same.

@TheExploit91 they would only play songs Kenny can handle, and most of the time they would only play new material. They also could have stopped touring all together. Beatles did it. There are many possibilities.

Peter himself said that "If I ever leave the band, the guys will be fine without me" and hinted that Kenny should sing. It was in some interview after WCD when the band was breaking up, or maybe after LIKM. God as witness, Peter said that.

@frozenintears "the most idiotic THINK ive heard" ? And yes Kenny is a good singer, took part in writing Type O songs but regardless Peter was the main voice behind Type O. Another thing if Type O did continue with Kenny as the singer how would they sing all of their hits that only Pete could sing like Black No1 and Christian Woman just to name a couple. When Pete died the rest of Type O aswell as kenny knew this which why they made the smart decision to just disband.

@TheExploit91 I strongly disagree. Type O would be awesome with kenny as lead singer. To say that Type O would suck is the most idiotic think I've heard. Peter is not the only one who wrote all these great songs, They all wrote them together.

With Kenny at lead Type O would be awesome and a bit different.

@frozenintears No way you cannot replace Peter. No offence to Kenny but Type O would suck with just him singing and it deff wouldnt be the same and im sure they would lose lots of fans etc. Somtimes its better to move on and leave somthing how it is you cant always replace things. And im sure the rest of the guys from Type O agree thats why Type O isnt a band anymore. Yeah it sucks but there is nothing you we can do. But Type O Negative is best left as it is. RIP Peter
