Spiritual Warfare - Sermon

'Spiritual warfare' is sometimes one of those topics that we get a little bit scared of. It seems to be inviting us into an unseen, unknown and volatile world that is for 'super Christians' and people a little bit on the edge. But when we start to explore the Bible's teachings on the issue we begin to see that being involved in spiritual warfare is not optional for a Christian, we are already in the middle of the battle. The only question is whether we are battling well, and prepared, or just letting things happen around us.

@armywife871 I am one of those people that don't know how to pray like some that seemed to born with the gift of prayer. I struggle to find the right words. I have finally decided to write down my prayers and I add to them each day. I think we have not because we ask not. My prayer is not for money or worldly things. My hope is to get out of the world and into the kingdom. I am finally stepping out of the world so to speak. I have had 1 foot in the world and 1 foot in the kingdom for 2 long.

@Kyjo34 This is true, it happens too that when we are in trouble we go to God ONLY when we are in trouble, and when we are not, we dont even pray or include him in our daily life.

I think that Satan is best at telling you that God has turned his back on you. Once you feel discouraged you become weak and less likely to praise God. We sink into a hole because we don't feel God's love, we don't see our prayers being answered so we believe the lie that we are not part of God that we messed up 2 bad. Once Satan can make you think God is not on your side your faith, and spirit weakens to the point you are a whipped puppy that doesn't even feel like praying anymore. U drop out.

Overall, a great message. Please don't forget about the power of prayer and fasting, (which I'm in need of) mixed together, against demons. And also, some attacks of demons aren't always so subtle, like in Job and some of the attacks listed in the gospels.

Strange isn't it. These are the same tactics used by Hitler to stress and motivate his audiences. I wish your parishioners had the capacity to see the nature of this propaganda, but they won't. You turn people into sheeple - I just hope they wake up one day.

You are a cruel and evil people, those that cause fear and hate in others. I call you out.

When christian do spiritual warfare, make sure you follow the bible's guild line and not Hollywood.
