Traxxas Slash With a Gyro

This is a video that somewhat demonstrates what a gyro does on offfroad or drift vehicles.the gyro will keep the car trackiing strait under hard acceleration as well as keep the truck from spinning out on turns or on low friction areas such as loose dirt, gravel, or even snow. the gyro is not waterproof but i cover the top where the holes ar with a piece of scotch tape. this keeps dirt and moisture out of the device and its still running fine.

Just wondering how to hook the gyro up and which gyro your using. Looks sweet!

@wsurockclimber Esky Rate Gyro (Ek2-0704). you will more than likely need an extension to hook it up. just hook it up the to steering servo on one cord and the steering connection on the receiver.

@mxf7010g8k untill youve driven on the terrain you cant talk. i had my slash for almost 2 years before i got a gyo. go out and get a vxl slash running on 2s lipo on this terrain and you will see its almost impossible to go WOT or even full speed.

@dizzyinzo you really miss the point of the gyro and this video. im not racing im bashing, its 10x more fun when you can actually do the things you want to without worrying about sliding everywhere. if you have ever drove on very fine sand you would know its almost impossible to drive.
