@greszkinov I second that. I don't even watch The Disney Channel anymore.
Those of you who think The Disney Channel has had it, raise your hand.

I wish they would put some of these classics on DVD/BluRay.

The first song the Sherman Brothers ever wrote for Disney...

@mynameisxena It's actually untrue that it wasn't released on DVD. My grandfather has a dvd at his house that we've watched several times, and I'm pretty sure it's not a download or conversion from another format.
I'd try online dvd outlets like Amazon or just ebay.

I wish television was like this today! :O

Growing up, I adored all the original Mouseketeers episodes. Annette was my idol for a few years. I've always loved classic Disney, when Walt was still around and it was still family friendly- and by that I mean adults and kids could watch and enjoy.
These days the stuff Disney creates for TV is crap. I also miss the weekly Sunday night movie and the shows on nature Walt used to host.
I feel sorry for today's kids, and I'm only 27 but wow, the things they watch are so worthless. It's sad.
If they re-released The Horsemasters on DVD I'd be thrilled. I wish they would either show this on Disney or give someone else permission to air it because they're not doing anybody any favors by keeping it in the Vault.

@Flashygrrl This is no longer "Walt's" Disney

The Disney Channel used to show the older movies from their golden age as well as Walt Disney Presents, The Mickey Mouse Club, and Zorro. They made a huge mistake by taking those off.

Ain't it strange!
At midnight or 3am they show "kids" programming with no kids OR adults watching but if they replayed (nearly free) programming from the 50's & 60's, adults would be glad to watch. A different and NEW audience for them. In my house, it was on almost 24/7, I used to watch with and without my kids . . . . now I don't watch it at all!
They've abandomed us, so I've forgotten them . . . . WDW, movies, Disney store, etc.
