Too funny. Our Scotties do the same thing. This was clever and cute, but with Scotties how could it fail. We will be careful to instruct our girls on proper handwashing. : ) .

But, you would not believe the vitriolic comments I have gotten, with people taking the rabies thing seriously, or finding it so distasteful that they feel compelled to write very scathing responses. @mmmcdaniel7 Saying your dog had rabies is a lot like saying your granddaughter has a brain tumor.... well, no she doesn't, we're just fooling around.  It's a trick which leaves a sour taste in your viewers' mouths. Add to that the patently false 'facts' about rabies transmission and a cute vid turns negative.

You'd get a different reaction if you had titled the vid "Cute Scotties Like the Snow" with no text in the vid. It might even had tons of views! But no. Not the way you did it.

@sweetfreedomgirl LOL, we are obviously smitten by the rapskallions or we would not be watching other peoples Scots on youtube. They are quite unique and very very smart, but little knotheads at times. They will do what you want when it suits them, thankfully it mostly suits them.

@sweetfreedomgirl We enjoy our good luck in living with such delightful and funny little creatures. We have had ours for 3 years and 2 years respectively, we often comment at how much they make us smile or laugh. They are quite the little characters. They are elegant little scamps with a gift for giving love and being loved in return.

Obviously, there are a few people on here who should either 1) get a Scotty in order to grow a sense of humor or 2) do not deserve one because of their lack of a sense of humor! I am sad for those who can't lighten up and take the video in the manner with which it was intended!

Those who own Scotties are usually aware that they originated in Scotland, hence the name Scottish Terriers, duh. Why the crummy remarks folks, sit back and enjoy. The owner was obviouly being droll. The pups are happy and full of themselves romping in the snow, not shivering and whimpering. Make nice.

People need to grow a sense of humor. Humor is a requirement if you own a Scotty. They are unique, very intelligent and require a lot of attention. Yours are obviously happy little scamps. They are wonderful little friends. We have Fiona Macpherson who just turned 3 and her naughty little sister Sassafras MacPherson aka Sassy, who will be 2 tomorrow.
