@swordofluminesence I thought the lack of a track worked well enough, but that said given the quality of the rest of the game's soundtrack it would have been nice to see what Mitsuda could have done with that battle.

Nice song, but too sad that the actual "final battle" music is.... well, you know, I would've loved some epic piece in that battle as well.

I remembered the first time I fought this and when it teleported my party to a different area, I assumed that I was gonna get some heavy damage from the fall. Lucky for me, it was only 0.

As epic as everything else from Chrono Cross this is.
They really don't make games like they used to. The gameplay is decent for the new games, but the music is generally only half as good as the old games, save for a few minor exceptions. At least the stories are still awesome.
