It's ignorance to ask for prison for athlete. You don't ask for prison for corrupt politicians. If you don't bet on the sport, you didn't loose anything. Idiot. What will prison solve. It is not going to stop dopping. Use analytical skills.

What a great race! I was personally pulling for Gwen Torrance. But - it was Gail Devers who got across that finish line first. Gwen said later that she didn't hear the gun. It looks like she didn't get out of the blocks fast enough.

I'm a Merlene Ottey fan and I am really disappointed to learn she tested positive 3 times. It really does throw a shadow over her entire career. I have only this comments page to go on so far, so I will investigate. Coming on the back of Hincapie dobbing Armstrong in, I am so disillusioned with sports stars right now. They make a lot of money, so if caught, prison and pay it all back.

@Ras09true I think a time about 10.60 with + 1m/s is more likely and the time would have of be situated in surrounding of 10.70 without wind.

A scientist who handled a 1999 drug test for Jamacian sprinter Merlene Ottey says a mistake was made clearing the runner of a postive test.
"The sample shouldn't have been corrected at all", said Christiane Ayotte, the head of the lab in Montreal where the testing was carried out.
"And when they did, they used the wrong formula. It was a very stupid mistake. They turned it upside down. The problem is that no one form the IAAF side was able to correct this formula during the Abritration.
