Venice Beach with Philip Bloom

On October 30th 2009, a bunch of us camera geeks met up with Mr. Bloom for lunch and a fine afternoon of photo walking. Although I had possession of the Canon EOS 7D for several weeks prior to this tweet-up, this was actually the third time I had used it. My footage is rough... so, I apologize for that. The 7D has been somewhat of a learning curve for me. I ended up not shooting much video... having too much fun socializing I suppose. Since I don't even dare to compete with the epic Venice's People film So... I decided on a uniquely fresh approach. Enjoy.

I still have yet, at the time of this writing, to watch Mr. Bloom's Canon EOS 7D training video. However, I have read lofty reviews of it.

***UPDATE***

I have watched Mr. Bloom's 7D training video and it is five star training. The training is very attuned to the beginner but, yet has very useful tips for the experienced. A must have for quick emergence into the Canon DSLR world. It is worth the money. I do not know if the coupon code still works from up above but, I would give it a try when buying.

A side note... I have to say... Mr. Bloom is a fine fellow, a pleasure to meet, and a wealth of knowledge. Not to mention, well rounded in humor. In addition... I met other fine fellows that day that I am glad I had the opportunity to meet. I just want to say thank you for sharing your company and enthusiasm... And I look forward to a day where we might meet again.
