This truck ran a 10.40 or a high .30 at 75&80 that night. He got a "no time" on that pass because the clocks screwed up. I was standing there watching. They had put VHT out and it finally hooked half decent, with very little boost, and took off like a raped ape. I've been doing this 40 years and I know a fast pass when I see one. This was strictly on pump gas and he built the motor and tranny himself on a fairly strict budget.
