Mcr say themselves that they arent emo. I dont even get what emo is to be honest. In my eyes its a type of music thats emotional with a hardcore/rock background I guess? But the daily mail decided to take that and twist it into as stereotype thats a group of 'emo' kids who dress in dark clothes and cut, which is complete bullshit. So as Gerard Way once said FUCK THE DAILY MAIL! And emo or not, Mcr are my favourite band and I love them with all my heart.

so what if they are emo what is so bad about that? music is music, you like it or you don't. it doesn't matter what genre it is every song in the world is different so they shouldn't be classified as the same. people are blowing this way out of proportion it's great music and a lot of you are over looking that because you're to busy either calling it emo or arguing with the people that called it emo.where is it getting you exactly? because i have no idea
