Have you ever bred even one fish? These two are obviously a "pair" and fending off others from their nest.

not the same sex the nicaraguan is male i think it is dominant you can tell by the colors. Plus only males get colors like these.

thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard! 530L for 4 fish??? Fish that size? Stupid. Keep your ignorant opinions too yourself! Caves and sand is the ideal environment but not absolutely necessary!

hi nice fish, and i agree that nikki is a girl ,,, i have a pair and the male is totally different colouring,, and i dont understand all these people who are obviously fish lovers spending hours on the net looking at everyones fish ,,, have so many negative comments, what happened to enjoying your hobby and encouraging people to share the same interest ,, its fast becomming a sad world,, ps enjoyed the clip

??? I know that they are fighting. The convict (the striped one) and the Nic (the yellowish one) are on the same side, fighting off the competition (the Uro aka false festae) together. What exactly was your point and why am I a dumbass? People must just come on here to rip on others when they're in a pissy mood or something.
