Most applications seemed only a little faster; what I wud like to have seen is playing a video.
no model numbers were given, so I guess now u don't have the newest model.
MacBook Pro MD314LL/A vs MC724LL/A is what I am having trouble finding a comparison.

If you have to buy one get the high res antiglare or glossy. I didn't and there is not much screen real estate to do anything. Yeah it's expensive but it is more than worth it in the long run. If you don't have to get one consider waiting until late 2012 for the refresh.
I want to buy a Macbook Pro very soon, but should I just wait because they should be getting a refresh soon?

@KILLAHUNT1 They were just updated in late October. Per Macrumors: "Apple released a minor update to its MacBook Pro line, offering upgraded processor, and in some cases graphics and/or storage options at the same price points as the previous models." If I had to guess I'd say don't expect any new MBPs before Q2 2012.

Wouldn't be a nice idea if the next macbook had the speakers located on the on the top, above the keyboard?...Moreover, there could be put a NUMERIC KEYPAD...WE ALL WANT ONE...

@tolisBFMV I personally like number pads, but I doubt we'll see them on MacBooks any time soon. Apple doesn't seem to like them. Probably because of both aesthetics and spacial concerns. The number pad keyboard doesn't even come standard with the iMac anymore, only the Mac Pro.
