That 800 hp. is too much power for even heavily armoured IFVs. Just imagine what logistic nightmares this EFV and the M1 will create in any future war.

its 850 hp with Power/weight 34.48 v.s the M1 Abrams 1,500 hp 24.5 hp/metric ton !! its not as bad as you think .

I understand how it can stay afloat during travel. A snowmobile can do the same if it has enough speed. But how does it keep from sinking while stationary? (5:21)

No tanks can float. A tank drives on the bottom of the water. Many APC's and IFV's can float though.

What is revolutionary is this vehicles ability to go fast over the waters from out to sea. The floating ability is really nothing special.
