THe blast investigation is still on in full swing. It does not die with the death of an investigating officer. India has manu such brave and sharp officers to take charge.

Two weeks before the Mumbai attacks the Indian government arrested several Army officers and Hindu Extremists for false flag bombings blamed on Muslims.
The Democratically elected govt promised MORE investigations concerning the infiltration of Hindu terrorists into the Indian Army, Police and RAW.
India was in shock..Hindu Extremists had planted false flag bombings that were blamed on Muslims.
The ATS chief in charge of the investigations & his 2nd in command were both killed in Mumbai.

Karkare was investigating against "Hindu Inteha Pasand" movements. He also solved "Samjhota Express" mystery and found and proof a hindu on-duty army Kernel involved in that incident. So your politicians remove him successfully from corrupt political system. Shame you just shame!
Anyways, my sympathy with a great and true officer! Sorry for this huge death!
But don't forget to find the facts and try to find who killed Karkare. You should get out from "Blame Game" and find truth!
