That a company would go out of their way to attack a free work is questionable; that Square-Enix would do it to a fan project is downright despicable. To real Square fans who have supported the company for nearly two decades, this is a giant F*** Y**. I've never been more proud of fans, and more disappointed in Square.

oh by the way the lawsuit was going to be for "estimated profit loss" as stated in the cease and deist letter... yeah thats right they feared this game would take $150,000 USD from them becuase its actually (guess what?) SOMETHING NEW... and not yet another butchered chrono trigger game, with butchered audio (oddly something as ancient as snes had better sound), and butchered story-line to cross over some sequel most ppl dont giv a fuck abt as much as the prequel.

What they want to do is a half assed job... this game made all theyre half assed attempts of making chrono trigger + crono cross some how intertwine although theyre different one is time travel the other is dimensions(?) they sucked so fucking bad they had to edit the game 2 FUCKING TIMES THEY CHANGED CHRONO TRIGGER TO BOOST SALES OF CRONO CROSS FUCKING RETARDS if u duno what im talking abt 1) Lucca picks up baby (Kid) in PSX chrono trigger 2) Chrono Trigger DS alt ending
