he only had two working fingers right? then how the hell can you even play just the simplest chords let alone jazz? I dont get it....but he's amazing

@Barefoot67 Many Jazz chords are easy to play, if you know the right fingering. And simple bar chords would be hard for Django (for obvious reasons), but 6th chords were more his thing than 7th. And he could use his thumb, so he actually had three working fingers, plus he could push his ring and little finger in to the fretboard to make chords.

I hope that clears up a few questions.

@OropherThranduil I think that saying that knowing how to read music hurts a musician's creativity is as ridiculous as saying that a person who is great at making up stories, yet doesn't know how to read or write, and has to dictate the stories to somebody to be written down, would actually hurt their creativity by learning how to read and write. It just doesn't make any sense.

@Barefoot67 no he had an accident and lost the use of some of his fingers, and had to learn a new techique of playing chords, or he just got someone else to play them and he got the credit for it, he tried to fool his fans.
