  • Oh Bless! Her recipe book is wonderful and so very old Her Mothers recipes are in there too.

Makes me think about how many of us just rely on the net and to print out a page.

    Nana Ruth ROCKS!

  • I wish nana ruth was my grandma!

  • 8:50 it's hard to believe those are egg whites (seeing it first time like that) lol

  • i hope this recipe works. ive tried three different recipes and they have all been soupy. ill try this one tomorrow. wish me luck.

  • That looks fanominale.

  • Hey! I figured out how to stop the condensation!! let the pie cool down completely before putting on the meringue and spread it right to the sides of the crust to seal the filling from the heat again. The meringue only has to brown you see by that stage and that happens quickly so the filling wont heat up that much again and cause steam. have a go! works for me.(:))

  • @pixiepqueen Hi i have the very same problem myself .Wish some experienced baker person would solve that problem too.I consider myself experienced alot but this problem has stumped me too.
