@MRmasacruz More like Crysis was inspired by the comic.

@au25 Dude, I just finished reading the first issue of the G.I. Joe comics (own "Classic G.I. Joe vol.1") and let me tell you, there is blood in the comics, maybe not much, but at the end after Scarlett throws a ninja star into Cobra Commander's wrist, he escapes and leaves a little trail of blood. Also words like "Innocent Blood" and "Bloodbath" are used.

@youtoubakias No, because the last anime movie/series they made was 'Resolute' which tore Snake Eyes' storyline to shreds. And I know that movies can't make them look like the 'toons, which is why I said they should follow the comics instead. Comic book adaptations always work much better when they stick to the comics and ignore the 'toons. Just forget about the 'toons already. They were dumb and boring. The comics were always much better, and they can make a good movie if they stick to them.

@44excalibur Like i said those movies cannot make them look like the toons! at least in the original series they had an excuse by making it a litle weird in some parts. If you have see an anime that they make you will see that its better t make it a anime series or movie.

@youtoubakias What they should do is disregard all the cartoons completely and go by the ORIGINAL Marvel comic book storyline by Larry Hama. The cartoons got everything wrong, and this movie was even worse. Cast the right actors for the roles; get Snake Eyes' storyline right for once, including his romance with Scarlett; Make Hawk the team leader since Duke didn't even exist originally in the comics; and give the action and storylines a sense of realism like Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell.

@sfighter991 Of course I saw Zack Snyder's 'Watchmen' and read Alan Moore's graphic novel. I liked the comic, but didn't feel it was quite as good as everyone said it was, and not nearly as good as Frank Miller's 'The Dark Knight Returns.' Zack Snyder was faithful to the source material, but David Hayter and Alex Tse's script was a bit clunky in parts. I don't think they did Ozymandias' story right, and I felt both Adrian Veidt and Silk Spectre were miscast. Other than that it was good.

@44excalibur I assume you didn't see "Watchmen" directed by Zack Snyder. I read Allen Moore's masterpiece twice in preparation for the movie. That should be another example of Comic-Book movies staying faithful to their source material.

A blind one fingered lootery ticket winner could've written and directed a better film, than that shit flick. Christ, now it has another one it's way with hopes of the most electrifying man in sports entertainment history and some vacationing cop from new york to unfuck what the first movie did. Good luck hollyweird, lmfao!!!

Though they manage to make a couple of the characters to look like the cartoon series the movie sucked ass! Its a good example that trash like that one can only be remade only in anime or even better try to make them a new cartoon series, like the new thundercats. Not a cgi shit fest but animated like the good old days.
This movie is a inpired by Crysis -game !
