Yes Manziel was the right man, but to give Te'o heisman recognition, then blow off the real best linebacker in the NCAA (Jarvis Jones) shows how much media plays a part in who wins the heisman. Its blasphemy I tell you!

Right, most outstanding, that's the phrase I was looking for. I mean Te'o stood out because he led this great fallen dynasty back to and undefeated regular season and a national championship appearance. You had to expect that someone from ND would be chosen and Te'o was the obvious choice. Either way, the right man won it.

true....like I said " not that there is anything wrong with that" , but I think that that is the "real" story behind the story ( though I could be wrong ) but I think all the new interviews and info are still all just "spin stories" to cover up the fact that the whole thing was created to hide the fact that he is a gay athlete...I think most of the sports world knows this, but cant speak on it , until he decides to come out ( which he wont ) first....

Don't get me wrong i think the proposition of a conservative mormon notre dame alum coming out as the first gay pro athlete would be a great entre for gays in professional sports. Instutionalized homophobia permeates every facet of his identity (polynesian, mormon, football, etc.), and under normal circumstances it would be dangerous for him to come out, but he's put himself in a situation where it's the only explanation that retains his dignity.

are you mormon? I've read about half of the book of mormon, and all the profanity you've used I don't think you will be in "heavenly father's" good graces if ya know what I mean. Mormons believe in Jesus THE Christ.... They also believe that the garden of eden is in Jackson Co. Missouri.... not in modern day south east Iraq, Kuwait, or Bahrain.... =]
