Q: How do I get to the model viewer?
A: Go to http://steampowered.com
Click on "Get Steam Now".
After Steam has finished downloading, run the installer.
If you don't already have a Steam account, click on Create new Account.
After you have finished signing in, go to the "Store" section and buy a game that says it comes with Source SDK.

Here's a list of games that come with Source SDK:
Half-Life 2
Half-Life 2 Episode 1
Half-Life 2 Episode 2
Counter-Strike: Source
Portal
Team Fortress 2
Left 4 Dead
Left 4 Dead 2
Portal 2

After you have bought a game or a package that comes with that game, slide over to the "Tools" section and download Source SDK and Source SDK Base.
(If you bought a game that comes with the Orange Box, or the Orange Box engine... 'Download Source SDK Base - Orange Box' as well.)
Once they are both done downloading, open up Source SDK.
There will be a menu, click on Model Viewer. And there you have it! Have fun and don't forget to subscribe!

Hi, how do I view custom models from gmod? For instance, I downloaded a model from garrysmod(dot)org, I can use it in gmod, but I don't know how to view it in MV; is there a precise path to put it in for viewing? Tnx
