Half-Life 2 Source SDK - Model Viewer

can i use this to change the player model ?

If you still don't know, it's just to press the tab "Attachment" and under "Attachment" choose "(none)"

When you have created a map in source SDK, can you use these models instead of a Terrorist? Where in source sdk did you find these models?

they should release a fully comercial version of source sdk so people can make their own characters mods and etc and have the chance to integrate them into online game.

thatll be awesome you could paly the games and mods that other people makes.

XSI or something like that does that, and It's supported by Valve, but not officially used by Valve themselves.

i got left 4 dead the retail version and it has the orange box engine or the shadow and new fire effects but anyway i want that as well in my half-life 2 that is fully up to date so do i need to do some shit or should it have updated the engine allready, i have no idea..plz help i just what the new engine in my half-life 2 thats it but btw nice vid bud

Half-Life 2 uses source 2006. And the only way to play it using Source 2007's new fire effects is to play through it on Garry's Mod, because it uses source 2007 and it is fully compatible with any source game.
