@rgsibley Huge Meatmen fan! Tesco is great. Flint HC scene had some great bands too! The anti-establishment HC of the 80's was the only thing good about that decade. Now it seems like the 80's are being dragged back with hair metal; Reagan supply-side economics freaks, Smurfs, Thundercats, GI Joe, Transformers; redone; ugh. A perverse crystallization of the same old status quo recycling itself. No originality; no broke, awesome local scene. Just Avril Lavigne and Green Day, sad. That was fun.

I saw Fugazi here in Detroit; late 80's, Blondies; but this is a few years before I could legally slam.

Man, that was a great gig. The amount of energy generated in that small room is amazing.
Is this really from '83? It looks earlier. Weren't they a five-piece by then?
Much credit to the person who filmed this historic film for posterity.

It first looked like Ian was holding a Freddie Mercury style mic stand - that made me smile.
