Fox News Channel has the cameras turned on them at a local Democratic Party meeting in Milwaukee, WI, 10/25/10. Fox News reporter can't defend his organization and "understands" why Democrats don't trust Fox News. The reporter is from national Fox News Channel, he's based in Chicago, this is not a local reporter from a Fox affiliate.

@MisterHappyGoLucky You criticize my writing and say I "must be a child," yet you open your comment with "Lol" and say you "laugh" at a story documenting how Media Matters, yet again, takes things out of context. It's like you're trying to look like an idiot. Well, of course I don't expect YOU to be persuaded. You're a drone. But there are others who may be reading this, and injecting some cognitive dissonance into you drones SOMETIMES gets the job done, given time - I've been successful before.

@canofsand Lol. I will give you a more detailed reply once I finish laughing about #4 and your blustery little response. You must be a child to think that kind of writing is very convincing.

@MisterHappyGoLucky (continued) Finally, I cannot help but note that you totally ignored the other three examples. Media Matters and MM zealots like you are increasingly becoming a laughingstock - and utterly irrelevant.

Ex 3: You (sort of) concede it, but can't help but throw out a completely unsubstantiated claim (just like your pals at MM!). Also, MM's "correction" was cloaked in bullcrap: It said the original headline "did not make clear that Beck’s co-hosts were being satirical." Got that? Didn't make it "clear." Honest mistake, or something! Oh wait, no. As Mediaite puts it, "In other words – the exact opposite of Media Matters’ post." MM = liars and cowards. (continues)

Ex 2: MM had access to the full video yet purposefully CHOSE to edit it in such a way as to manufacture a SMEAR. They omitted the part that DIRECTLY CONTRADICTED THEIR CLAIM. Where you get off saying that's "not much of a complaint" is a mystery because where I come from, blatant lies and smears are something well worth complaining about. Saying Beck shouldn't have covered the story at all is arguable, but more importantly, IRRELEVANT. MM LIED. PERIOD. (continues)

@MisterHappyGoLucky Hand-waving away the examples doesn't cut it. You're not even doing a very good job at hand-waving, either. Your logic and reasoning is not, well, logical or reasonable, nor do you even seem to try. You are intellectually bankrupt. For one, MM reported the anti-Christ question as if it was said in all seriousness; it WAS NOT, and your spin on the answer to the question is just your "interpretation" (you heard what you wanted to). @canofsand Example #1 Would be convincing if Hagee wasn't actually making a sarcastic argument that Obama really WAS the anti-christ.
Example #2 Is not much of a complaint at all and has little to do with the point. If Glenn Beck could not confirm the story, he should not have run with it in the first place. That is journalism 101.
Example #3 is your best point, but MediaMatters issued a correction. Not something these conservative blowhards seem to do - and not because they are perfect. :)

@MisterHappyGoLucky
Ex. 4: NewsReal Blog's "Media Matters Lies Again, This Time About Obama Intimidating Supreme Court"
Ex. 5: NewsReal Blog's "Media Matters Won't Apologize for Spreading Fake Limbaugh Slavery Quote"
Ex. 6: watch?v=uJhe00QSlBI (racism smear on Bill O'Reilly from MM repeated by CNN and MSNBC)
If I could paste the URLs w/o YouTube eating them, I would. A search engine will find the articles, though.
And there are more.

@MisterHappyGoLucky Your blindness to things Beck has done doesn't mean he hasn't done them. Media Matters is a hack group with a stated purpose of attacking FNC. They're funded by people with Far Left agendas - much further Left than most Democrats.
Example 1: watch?v=t-JbRH2morI
Ex. 2: Hot Air's "Media Matters dishonest editing in support of their “smear” argument exposed"
Ex. 3: Mediaite's "Media Matters Gives Glenn Beck’s Co-Hosts The Shirley Sherrod Edited Audio Treatment"

@canofsand Mediamatters quotes Beck and has actual video footage of the things Beck says. If you are going to smear Mediamatters cite a specific example of anything they have done that was unfair to Beck, because Glenn Beck has never adequately done that himself.
