sifu henning daverne demo

this video is allready posted in a mix with one of sifu reimers, but i thought that this version with the voice of sifu daverne and not the sound of some tecno hiphop reggaeton music would be better.

in some way this is a message to all video makers of wing tsun: please stop using crap music for the videos!!

I really love to see ppl that train for a pair of years, or months, and they decide to do their own video about self-sefense. Brilliant...

and one more thing, any martial artist that trains, fights well doesn't mean that he's suposed to be able to beat ufc fighters because they train in a different level, so it does not make any sense to compare both.

@BringerOfTheTruth Good points, and actually this debate is going on and on since Boztepe challenged the Gracie clan in 1994. I wonder WHAT EXACTLY is so different between Streetfighting and the UFC, especially in its early days when headbutting, knees to face, downward elbows and groin shots were legal ??? Can Wing Tsunners only win by eye gouging or biting ? then why learn all those endless sets of sticky hands chi sao ??? Those guys simply live off the image of their instructors.

Det er en del af kvalitets uddanelsen, at fjerne sig selv fra sofa-komfort indstillingen til hvad kamp reelt er. Der er ikke plads til blødsødenhed når det kommer til selvforsvar.

@hayfire2 : Nej ikke mindreværd. Det er typisk træning i kvalitets Wing Tsun, hvor eleverne allerede har givet et "okay" til at blive behandlet hårdt. På gaden er der ingen regler, og Henning er ikke interesseret i at skade eleverne, men blot at give dem erfaring i teknikkernes effektivitet. Men jeg ved også hvor forfærdeligt blødsødne Danskerne er og hvor meget de hader alt der er udenfor sofa komfort konceptet.

Good to see some proper Wing Chun for a change. Many doesn't understand the "violence" displayed, but it is taught with the notion, that when you're on the street, there are no rules there, and whining to the aggressor does not work. There is always the potential of death in street fights, so in order to survive, you need to be a bit rough. I have a similar Sifu in Spain teaching the same quality. This is Wing Chun that works and doesn't accept bullshit.
