@lockaheart not really sure about that. They have a big difference. even before I began trying to learn Japanese I saw a huge difference in speech, and a fair difference in their characters.

@MagicalCarrot - Diru fans can be some of the most obnoxious, misguided, bitter, and ironically closed-minded (booing at the U.S. band that opens for your j-band, then calling anyone who says squat about DeG a "racist") people. The "community" is typically filled with trivial arguments and competitions for "#1" between the fans along with loads of drama and trolling. But I try not to let it get to me or taint my enjoyment of their music; "don't hate -the band- because of the fans" right?

That's because there are only 3 types of Dir en grey fans. 1: The type that only fawn over them because they're Japanese and hate on anything that isn't whilest calling everyone else "close-minded." 2: The type that turn off newcomers by being absolute bitches to all "newbies" and "unworthies." 3: The minority; the type that just likes the fucking music.
