Alan and Stevie Nimmo are two of the most exciting, young, modern blues guitarists on the European circuit, joined here by Mat Beable on bass and Dave Raeburn on drums. Drawing their influences from the blues boom of the 1960s, the Nimmos learned their trade by listening to such greats as Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac and John Mayalls Bluesbreakers. Coming Your Way won the best UK blues album and best UK blues band at the British blues connection awards 2002.In 2003 it was time for a change of pace and the brothers achieved this with their first acoustic album New Moon over Memphis, a beautiful and highly emotional recording which focused on the vocal and song writing talents of The Nimmo Brothers. At the time of filming in 2009, they were promoting the CD Picking up the Pieces. The Nimmos have been chosen to support many leading names and played at major festivals including Colne, Burnley, Maryport, Monaghan, Dublin, Castlebar, Enniscorthy, Edinburgh, Leith, Glasgow and Dundee, as well as Kwadendamme and Bospop in Holland. Live sessions for the BBC and Dutch television have also been recorded.
