Driving home on the Beltway from the Chesapeake Climate Action Network's "Keep Winter Cold" polar bear plunge event, I discuss my experiences at the event. I discuss how I got to meet Donna Edwards, and about Maryland's recent redistricting, ice flying off of car roofs, the restaurant after the plunge, changing clothes when you can't feel your feet, feelings of accomplishment, walking on numb feet, Wegman's in PG County, how being cold ahead of time was a dumb idea, the fact that the camera angle in the car isn't flattering, and then the need to compile all of the various material to make the photo set.
