In this segment of K.I.S.S-D.(Keep It Simple Self Defense) Kelly Ford talks about the importance of watching out for you friends. "We all let our guard down sometimes. That is when we have to have each other's backs, we have to keep each other safe." Also in this segment Kelly and her friend Larry show more ground fighting. Now that you know how to hold on to an attacker it is time to start looking for your "targets"= the places on their body that you can hurt. Remember, the goal is to protect yourself from harm and make yourself not worth the trouble and pain you are causing them.
Kelly holds a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and her self defense training extended into many other martial arts. Her experience in martial arts transformed her from a scared little girl into a self assured and confident woman. She was inspired to share her knowledge by the murder of Chelsea King near her home in San Diego. "I encourage everyone to get self defense training but I know that isn't realistic. My intent is to show simple basic self defense moves that almost anyone can do with very little training."
So grab a buddy, watch and then try it yourself!
