come to think of it. if marks decides to play his current music (electric) with a full band, i bet it would all sound the same. he would have to rewrite all the music. mark is one of the best singer/ song writers and musician of our time. very underrated.

i know its been a year for these comments. to the couple of comments on how marks fingure plucking sounds the same live. i think i figured it out. most of his music is recorded with a full band. he tours on his own sometimes with phil. with his huge catalog of music, i think it would be a massive undertaking to play something different from song to song and make it sound different. his current music which is all accoustic and very complex. hearing it live sounds like the studio recording.

@sedantez24 except for his new album 'admiral fell promises' which has blown me away

i think the fingerpicking works amazingly... but he should vary it more.. it's sad to think that no matter how many times you go see him he will never strum a version of japanese to english or uncle joe ever again
-
Completely agree - he uses the same predictable plucking style for all his songs now.

Yes, as far as we know. Mark is touring solo in the UK right now. He has debuted three new songs on that tour. Who knows under what name he'll end up releasing his next cd. I'm enjoying your Broken Social Scene covers and instructional vids. Thanks.

I should add..whatever he does, I hope Mark goes back to strumming and electric guitars, with only the occasional fingerpicking style...
