QNX Smart Energy Reference Design on TI Beagleboard

This video describes how to build scalable, reliable and quality products using unique QNX technologies. The reference design was built using a TI Beagleboard with an OMAP 3530 Cortex A-8 ARM processor. The smart energy reference design for in-home displays is for managing next-generation security, monitoring, and automation applications. Based on a rich, Adobe Flash user interface, it illustrates how you can build applications for energy efficiency and security that can be managed through an elegant and easy-to-use HMI. It also shows how to interface with home area networks (HAN), Zigbee sensors, streaming IP video cameras, and how to integrate all this technology with Internet connectivity into a comprehensive and efficient system.
