@bbillyson I agree. This movie tears me up during the part where he reminisces about his lost love. I do the same thing almost every christmas when I remember the fiance I lost. The only difference is that Scrooge knows what he could have done to fix it. I don't

Albert Finney did such an amazing job with this role. When I am not busy being angered by the unrelenting apathy for others, I will find myself laughing at his childish stubborness and lack of self-awareness, and then even crying for him during his painful realizations of his own life and all the hurt he has caused for the only ones he ever really loved. You can see the pain in his eyes here, and truly sense the emotion he is portraying.
