This is my ADE Application - (Apple Distinguished Educator -- Class of 2011
Application for Membership (United Kingdom and Ireland).

The task is:

"Make a two-minute movie of your story. Show us how you're integrating Apple technology into your learning environment in meaningful ways. Show us how you and your students are having fun doing it. Finally, show us how you are influencing other educators to help transform teaching and learning."

Create a Two Minute Video of Yourself
Apple Distinguished Educators are passionate about teaching, learning and technology. They believe in the power of innovation and they lead the charge for change. Our ADEs have powerful messages that must be heard and they speak out with credible voices. They do amazing things with Apple technology and share their knowledge with peers. They believe the world is their classroom and they nurture curiosity and imagination about people, places and possibilities.

And most of all, our ADEs believe that engaging learners in powerful ways makes a difference. They explore new ideas, seek new paths and embrace new opportunities. They have created unique learning environments that inspire creativity, innovation and collaboration.

Through your ADE application video, we would like to hear directly from you as you elaborate on your passions. We want to hear about the innovative culture that exists in your classroom or institution. We want to hear why you would like to become an Apple Distinguished Educator.

This is your chance to share through your video, how you feel you meet the profile below for a Class of 2011 Apple Distinguished Educator.

Class of 2011 Profile Areas
• A "digital" educator actively engaged in a modern learning environment. • An inspired user of core Apple technologies personally & professionally. • Uses and integrates a full range of mobile devices for teaching, learning and creative
expression.
• An early adopter of promising emerging technologies, pedagogical models, and digital content.
• Actively shares best practices by authoring authentic content, delivering professional presentations, or conducting and publishing research.
How do you begin? It's up to you. Because we are interested in educators who have hands on experience with Apple technologies, we'll leave the creativity up to you. Your video could be as simple or as elaborate as you desire. Our goal is to learn about you and the impact you have in your role as an educator. You should definitely appear in the video, or at a minimum have images of yourself and your voice narrating or telling your story.
