My cousin called me up one night and said to me "come with us tonight..there is this amazing band performing nearby"
Altough i am a death/grindmetal guy,my cousin knows his music and i decided to tag along.
nearby proved to be a 2 hour drive to Biebob in Belgium but once that band hit the stage.. WOW... is was worth every minute of that drive.. Such energy...and that VOICE!!!
I`ve seen Gotthard 3 times.. and i wis it could have been 300..
R.I.P. Steve.. you are truely missed..

Looking out the window and seeing my life go by
Many times I feel the joys, some others where I cry
What’s my destination, I still don’t know <3

As Gotthard moves on, Steve's voice will always speak to Gotthard fans everywhere, no matter what.

I was fortunate to see one of his last concerts, the whole band was just awesome, furthermore I had the chance to get to know Steve a little as a private person - he really was a star without any arrogance and preciousness, he was a real gentle and amiable person with a great talent - only th good die young. RIP Steve, we miss you forever. Besides, this song helps me in my own personal little struggle to get by every day ...

@nadenceto Unfortunately for me, I started to listen their music carefully just about 2 months before his death (I'm spanish). Therefor i could never see them live or valorate how important they are for me before it was too late. Smashing hit the death of a singer that i was really starting to admire as a singer and as a person and so the unknown future of a band that was going to become one of my favorites (now only rivaled to Priest in that concern and even through i couldnt choose only one).

@RHalford92 I had that golden opportunity to see them live here in Bulgaria in 2007 - the concert was unbelievable - speechless - the best show live ever - I have uploaded short videos from the above mentioned concert /see the videos in my profile/.
