Chameleon Fighting Green Snake

Peter and I were at the put-in for the Pacuare River in Costa Rica, and there was a Chameleon with a green snake's head in its mouth. Quite an unexpected glimpse into nature. Safe to say Luis gave the little guy a new lease on life, but the snake was probably none too thrilled. Although considering its head was in the Chameleon's mouth, maybe it was!

i can definitly say its somw kind of iguana, but i dont think that its a green anole, its way to big to be one and i guess u cant find green anoles in costa rica. it could be an anole but definitly not a green one

It's not a chameloen, chams are only found in the Old World (Europe, Middle East, Africa)

its a green anole :P they can change from green to brown.
