On Monday, August 8, former Congressman Joe DioGuardi appeared on the Curtis Wright Show - WFNC 640 AM. DioGuardi spoke about the recent S&P downgrade of the United States' credit rating and blamed a faulty system of accounting for the fact that no one seems to have a solution to our current financial crisis. DioGuardi stressed that federal government's cash basis system of accounting has created a long-term fiscal crisis -- only now being revealed to the American taxpayer.
