  • i found one of those in my yard today... thats the first time ive ever seen one b4... at first i thought it was a chicken at first glace.. that was weird lol

  • i'd rather eat any hunted animal over regular grocery store meat. first, the animal isnt abused, second, its lean, and thirdly, they eat properly. so what your left with is some good healthy meat.

  • people hunt them the taste really good yummmmmmmmmmmm

  • far maybe not too deep into the mountains

  • look on the ground

  • no bb gun

  • how do we find them

  • i see those every day

  • "Just a question but do blue grouse have a very loud patter when they fly... like the flapping of there wings."

I honestly am not certain for the simple reason Blue Grouse are not found in my region. I can say that most upland game birds, along with pheasants and quail, do have that motor-like, vibrating wingbeat when they flush.

  • Thanks man, i've been searching for 'em alot pecking gravel on the road but so far no success. Just a question but do blue grouse have a very loud patter when they fly... like the flapping of there wings. I know ruffle grouse do but i have seen many birds fly away that where rather large just no sound. I have only ever shot a ruffled grouse befor. Male one though.
